Drowning is the leading cause of unintentional death for children under the age of 14. The Nile Swim Club provides a variety of weekly swimming lesson for members and non-members, with free lessons provided to members.
The Beginners Class is designed for new and non-swimmers who are uncomfortable or inexperienced in the water. Participants will learn basic water skills including gliding with face in the water, floating, and kicking, as well as water safety in and around the water and will gain self-confidence. The Intermediate Class is for swimmers who are comfortable in the water able to swim at least 15-20 feet without a flotation device. Participants will learn breath control, stroke technique on front, back and side. As participants advance their skills will be refined and their strength and endurance will be increased. They will learn more advanced swimming techniques designed to improve their stroke and turn technique.
These lesson are provided privately, in groups, or semi-private.
Skill levels of students range from non-swimmers to competitive, from infant to adult. All lessons are paid in advance and are non-refundable. All lessons are 45-60 minutes

Aquatic Aerobics (Free for Members)
Trained instructors will conduct classes in Water Aerobics and Water Yoga and Relaxation
Water Aerobics—Tues., Thurs. 6:30 to 7:30 pm; Sun. 12 noon to 1 pm
